The following terms & conditions apply to all partners, information services and vendors
By hiring a stall/pitch at Gravesham Pride 2020 you are agreeing to the following terms & conditions.
Securing a place
Applications open Monday 9th March and close Monday 23rd March. Offers will be made to successful applicants in the week commencing 30th March and must be accepted within 7 days. An invoice will be issued on acceptance and must be paid in 14 days.
Once you have accepted an offer, your application has become a booking. No refunds are paid on cancelled stalls. A refund will only be provided if the event is cancelled.
You may not sell, lend, transfer or sub-let the stall to anyone else.
It is not possible to reserve a specific place or location at the event site. All pitches will be allocated according to vendor category on the day of the event.
You will comply with all reasonable requests from Gravesham Pride CIC team members during the event.
The decision of Gravesham Pride CIC is final.
Gravesham Pride CIC are dedicated to the promotion of Diversity, Inclusion & Social Cohesion. Your organisation or business MUST be fully inclusive of everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community. You may be asked to submit your policies detailing a commitment to inclusivity before being awarded a pitch.
Bookings are for the pitch only. All stallholders will need to provide their own tables, chairs, coverings, gazebos and anything else they may require. A pitch is approximately 4m x 4m. Electricity may be supplied if agreed in advance and will incur an additional fee. There will be a water stand pipe available for stallholders who require a water supply during the day.
Set-up times on the day will be staggered to avoid congestion on the event site and surrounding roads. You will be allocated a time slot for set-up closer to the event date.
Your stall must be open for the duration of the event (11:00-18:00) unless agreed in advance, in writing, with Gravesham Pride.
You may cease trading and break down your stall at 17:30 but you may not vacate the pitch and leave the site until the public have dispersed, shortly after 18:00. Stall holders who close and/or break down early may be subject to a penalty if their action delays public dispersal.
The following items are prohibited: glass, diesel or petrol generators, fuel, smoke machines or smoke effects, amplified music, strobe lighting, confetti.
You may not give away stickers, plastic or fabric carrier bags, confetti or any other item that causes excessive litter (please check with us for advice).
If you sell a product or service, you WILL be required to apply to Gravesham Borough Council for a trading licence. We will send you details on how to do this but it is YOUR responsibility to apply and pay by the deadline.
No fundraising will be allowed, except for Gravesham Pride. This includes offering a service or product in return for a donation, or asking people to sign up to direct debits etc.
You must not sub-let your stall to a third party. Any stall that has been sub-let will be immediately closed by Gravesham Pride CIC and no refund will be applicable.
You will be able to park on Community Square for the purpose of unloading and loading, but only during an allocated time slot; you will need to make your own arrangements for parking your vehicle away from the Pride footprint for the duration of the day.
You must have £5m of public liability insurance and you must provide evidence of cover to Gravesham Pride in advance of the event.
No waste service is provided and you must take all rubbish away with you from the stall. If you leave rubbish, or leave it by public bins, this is fly-tipping and you may be fined by Gravesham Borough Council.
An online form will be available on this page when application are open.
If you have any questions or require further information, please email our events team and we’ll be happy to assist you.
